INNER SPACE: Color and Sound Bath

This initial, guided segment of the program intends to establish a safe space that promotes a sense of inner awareness and presence with your self and body.

We hope that it can prepare you to relax and give your attention to any messages or body signals that may naturally come to you during the program.

This 50-minute segment of the program features three sections of crystal singing bowl recordings.

Section 1: We honor each chakra individually, sequenced from crown to root, with a 2-3 minute experience of the corresponding crystal bowl and wash of color.

Section 2: This musical improvisation was played by Amy Olson with the intention of supporting individual and collective healing in a community setting. It incorporates all seven bowls and is accompanied by a slow progression of chakra-coordinated colors.

Section 3: This musical improvisation features intentionally harmonized bowls, fostering connection and healing between chakras in diads or triads. Over the course of the section it incorporates all seven bowls and is accompanied by a slow progression of chakra-coordinated colors.

The beginning of this final six minute segment of the program will be signaled by a single bowl chime.

This period of time is intended to support post-sound bath restfulness and the peaceful integration of it’s healing impacts on your mind, body, and spirit. Enjoy this opportunity to simply be at peace and at rest as you continue to bring your awareness to your body and inner being.

The end of the integration period will be signaled by a second, final bowl chime.

Interoception is the perception of sensations from inside the body and includes the perception of physical sensations related to internal organ function such as heart beat, respiration, satiety, as well as the autonomic nervous system activity related to emotions (Vaitl, 1996; Cameron, 2001; Craig, 2002; Barrett et al., 2004).
